Professor Dickinson named Fellow of IAPR

The International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR) is an international association of non-profit, scientific or professional organizations concerned with pattern recognition, computer vision and image processing, in a broad sense.

The IAPR Fellow Award was introduced in 1994 and since then is biennially conferred on persons to acknowledge their distinguished contributions to the field of pattern recognition and to IAPR activities and the number of fellows elected every two years does not exceed 0.25% of the total IAPR membership.

Professor Sven Dickinson is among the 20 fellows named during the ICPR 2018 conference in Beijing, China.
