Qingnan Zhou, research engineer at Adobe Research and Assistant Professor Alec Jacobson’s dataset "Thingi10k" was selected by the CGF editorial board for Computer Graphics Forum 2018 Cover Image.

The researchers were previously recognized with the Dataset Award at the Eurographics Symposium on Geometry Processing (SGP 2017) in London, U.K., for Thingi10k.

This image shows all 10,000 models that compose the "Thingi10K: A Dataset of 10,000 3D-Printing Models". The dataset is publicly available and the provided web interface allows filtering on mesh quality and statistics. The image is rendered using Mitsuba and a packing algorithm.
