The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is known as "the world's gathering place for all those who thrive on the business of consumer technologies." This year, Tactual Labs, a startup spun-out of the Dynamic Graphics Project Lab and research led by Professor Daniel Wigdor (UTM) and colleagues received attention for its "Real-time Human Body Pose Sensing" technology.
The Honda Innovations press release notes that Tactual Labs was one of "six technology startups partnering with Honda Xcelerator at CES 2018 to demonstrate technologies that have the potential to transform mobility, focusing on challenges posed by autonomous vehicles and advanced connected cars."
