Intel FPGA Information Session for PEYs and New Grads

Intel is Hiring!

Please drop in and see us to discuss job opportunities

Intel CLE Talk: On Intel FPGAs – The Opportunities, The Technology, The Careers

Intel CLE (formerly Altera) has been an FPGA industry leader for more than two decades.  We make the power of cutting-edge silicon affordable to the masses via programmable logic. By tackling the challenging problems of VLSI, software, and digital libraries on the vendor side, our customers can get a working chip using FPGAs sooner, at orders of magnitude less cost, than a custom silicon chip. As Moore’s Law continues to exponentially grow the capacity of FPGAs, we continue to see new disruptive markets and opportunities open that demand strong technological innovation.

Join Dr Jason Luu as he talks about the world of FPGAs, Intel technical leadership, and roles at Intel CLE including device modeling, FPGA CAD, high level design, architecture, and IP libraries.

Dr Jason Luu is a software engineering manager at Intel Toronto.  He leads the timing analysis and design closure team in the Quartus FPGA compiler.  He completed his MASc and PhD in computer engineering, on FPGA CAD, at the University of Toronto in 2010 and 2014 respectively.
