Physical Computing for Interactive Experiences: The Demos

  • Bahen Centre for Information Technology, Room 3200 40 Saint George Street Toronto, ON, M5S 2E4 Canada (map)

The CSC490 final project demos feature undergraduate student work making the world a slightly better place.

These CS capstone projects explore the creation of computer-driven systems that interact with people to provide a highly compelling experience that serves a public good.

The demo event will feature eight group projects, with sponsoring organizations including the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), Little Canada, and the Museum of Medicine and Biomedical Discovery.

All of the demos will feature compelling, hands-on, interactive experiences. Here you will find a library shelf that brings a touch of magic to the physical browsing experience, discover insulin and save an animatronic dog from diabetes, or maybe even make a connection with a stranger through interactive art that works by holding hands. These are just a few of the incredible experiences to be explored.

This event is fun, free, suitable for all ages, and open to the public. No registration required.
