The Toronto node of the Global Legal Hackathon will take place between March 6 and 8, 2020 at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto. It is a public event open to students and professionals in law, tech, and related fields.

Participants will get to apply their legal know-how and programming skills to solve legal challenges in three broad categories: (a) Private benefit (business and practice of law), (b) Public benefit (good government, legal systems and access to justice), and (c) inclusivity.

Winners from the Toronto node will participate in the online semi-final round. Winners of the semi-final round win a subsidized trip to London, England to participate in the global finals.

Applications are due on February 25, 2020 at 11:59 PM.

Participants will be admitted on a rolling basis and can expect to hear back no later than Feb 29th.
