How to Apply to a Computer Science Program

The information on this page provides information for current Arts & Science students about applying to Computer Science programs. If you are not a current student but are interested in studying Computer Science or Data Science in the Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto, please visit the “Future Students” page on the Faculty of Arts & Science website.

Another Admission Category

Current students registered in the Faculty of Arts and Science interested in Computer Science (CS) have the option of applying to the following programs at the end of their first year:

CS Major (ASMAJ1689)
CS Minor (ASMIN1689)
Data Science Specialist (ASSPE1687)

Students in the CMP1 admission category may also apply to:

CS Specialist (ASSPE1689)

Important Note:

All students must apply to these programs during the first program request period only.
Students admitted to the program after second or third year will be required to pay retroactive deregulated program fees.
