Systems Savvy: A Woman's Guide to a Career in Computer Systems/Architecture

Computer systems and architecture are where innovation meets compute power, driving everything from cutting-edge AI to the latest tech we rely on every day.
This workshop is intended for undergraduate women in Toronto specializing in CS/engineering to learn more about careers in computer systems/architecture. This workshop will include panels, talks, and fun projects that aim answer questions such as:
What exactly is computer systems and architecture, and is it for me?
What makes it interesting, and why is it so relevant today and in the future?
Why jobs in computer systems can be very lucrative and what do they look like?
What would graduate school/PhD in this area look like? How and where to apply?
How do I get into it now?
There will be pizza and ice-cream!
This workshop is free and open to any women undergraduates in any university in Toronto. Please register online before October 14th, 2024.
