Applied Research in Action (ARIA) Showcase

About ARIA

ARIA is a great networking opportunity for anyone interested in the latest technological innovations. It is also a chance for companies to recruit brilliant minds, for undergrad students to connect with students, faculty members, and graduate program alumni about graduate school options.  Most importantly, ARIA is about networking with other generations of alumni from our community and celebrating the success of the program together. Take a look here to learn more about who should attend ARIA and some of the reasons why they do so.

Why attend?

ARIA is a great networking opportunity for anyone interested in the latest technological innovations. It is also a chance for companies to recruit brilliant minds, for undergrad students to connect with students, faculty members,  and graduate program alumni about graduate school options after finishing their Bachelor's degree.  Most importantly, ARIA is about networking with other generations of MScAC alumni and celebrating the success of the program together.

Event schedule

Research presentations become available for preview

Approx. one week before November 17

About one week before the main event, you will have an opportunity to preview this year's research presentations in a 3 min video format, or read the project abstracts. You will also be able to leave questions about these projects for the presenters to answer. There are 65+ presentations this year, so we highly recommend that you preview them ahead of the event on Nov 17th.

Launch Event & Awards (live)

November 17 | 10:00 a.m. ET

We will kickstart ARIA with welcome remarks from our academic leadership, glimpses of the program experiences of our students, industry partners and faculty, and a special celebration recognizing exceptional people.

Interactive Virtual Showcase (live)

November 17 | After the launch, until 1 p.m. ET

For this component of ARIA, we will meet in the Gather Town platform (to be accessed directly from the main event page) for an interactive 2D experience. ARIA guests will be able to walk the floor of a virtual expo hall in video game-like environment, and network with exhibiting students and industry partners, as well as other amazing event attendees.
