Undergrads awarded the Konrad Group's Digital Technology and Women in Technology Scholarships

Konrad Group is a leading global digital agency and innovation firm in the enterprise and consumer technology space. Konrad provides strategy, design, and development services, with an emphasis on building compelling user experiences. The company was co-founded by three University of Toronto alumni, Bill (BSc 2010) and Geordie Konrad (BASc 2010) and Hooman Bahador (BSc 2010).

In 2017, the Konrad Group renewed their support of the next generation of thought leaders by establishing two $2,000 scholarships open to upper-year Computer Science undergraduates in the major or specialist program: the Digital Technology Scholarship and the Women in Technology Scholarship.

Awardees were selected on the basis of academic achievement, a reference letter and an essay on the application of artificial intelligence in the digital technology space. They were recognized at the company’s Town Hall meeting, earlier this year.

– Women in Technology Scholarship: Lana El Sanyoura

“Our digital technology and women in technology scholarships are aimed to encourage more student participation in areas where we see a gap in the industry. We’re excited to get more students involved in digital technologies and try to give the applicants and award winners a glimpse into what they can expect by working in the industry,” said Bahador, Konrad Group’s Co-Founder.

Applications for the 2018-19 Konrad Group scholarships are open. Applications are due by October 22, 2018.
