This semester, the CSC428/2514 students had to design an experimental study to answer a research question related to a topic in the area of Human-Computer Interaction. Students worked in groups to define their research question, design an experimental protocol, collect data, analyze data, and discuss their findings. The final aim of the term project was to compile their research in a paper, using the "CHI" – the ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems - submissions template. Each group also put together a conference poster to showcase their project.
The public is invited to the CSC428/2514 poster session showcasing the work of each group in an open house format. Come and see what students have been working on this semester! This will give you an opportunity to ask students about their work, discover the world of Human-Computer Interaction, and get information on CSC428, "Human-Computer Interaction."
