Professors Emeriti Ron Baecker and Eugene Fiume have been synonymous with the University of Toronto's leading research in HCI and Computer Graphics for 30 years.
Please join us in celebrating their vision, impact and achievements, as we thank them for their tireless work and support over the years.
Professor Emeritus Ron Baecker
Dr. Baecker is a pioneer in the fields of Computer Graphics, HCI and Assistive Technologies. In 1989, his innovative spirit found a home at U of T, as a member of the DGP and founder of the TAGLab.
Professor Emeritus Eugene Fiume
Dr. Fiume is a world recognized leader in visual computing and computer graphics. Since joining the faculty in 1987, he has been a driving force behind the computer graphics field at U of T. He also served as Chair of the Department of Computer Science from 1998 to 2004.
