Join Google on campus and learn about Google Augmented Reality!
Augmented Reality can bring some really helpful and cool experiences to you using the phone that’s already in your pocket. AR Stickers is a new camera feature for Google Pixel phones, built with Google’s latest Augmented Reality technology. It lets you integrate three-dimensional "sticker" objects into your photos and videos, and renders them in real time as if they were really there!
Join Google Engineer and proud U of T alumnus, Ivan Neulander (BSc 1995, MSc 1997), at the Department of Computer Science Innovation Lab (DCSIL) for a special workshop on Google AR Stickers. He will discuss the design, art, and engineering behind AR Stickers. Immerse yourself as he gets live and interactive with an AR demo on the Pixel 2. Bring your questions, creativity and stories to life!
