Is your PhD math-centric?
The Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Science is hosting a thesis competition for PhD students in the Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics programs. Present your thesis in just 3 minutes to a non-specialist audience for a chance to win awesome prizes, including the opportunity to expand your presentation into a TEDx talk!
Are you up for the challenge?
The competition will take place at the Fields Institute in Toronto on April 18, 2017. Meet fellow math-minded students and strengthen your academic and research communication skills.
Full details about the program and a link to register can be found here, but hurry, the deadline for registration is March 26, 2017 and slots are filling up fast!
