AGE-WELL Public Webinar Series: Jan 23

AGE-WELL Webinar Series: Using Technology to Detect Pain in Older Adults with Dementia

Drs. Thomas Hadjistavropoulos, and Babak Taati, will present on pain in older populations. Webinar participants will:

• Explore the development of an affordable technology that will facilitate regular pain assessment with minimal resources
• Learn about an inexpensive vision-based sensor that can be easily implemented in most long-term care facilities
• Discover how an automated pain detection system can assist health care staff with pain assessment
