This past December, the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research
(CIFAR) named Professor Rich Zemel a Fellow of the Neural Computation
& Adaptive Perception (NCAP) Program.
CIFAR's aim is to provide leading scholars with the time, direction,
freedom and inspiration to pursue fundamental questions concerning
society, technology, and the very nature of humanity and the universe.
