Storeoboard – a 3D sketching software for story-boarding, created by computer science grad student Rorik Henrikson
– is helping filmmakers create 3D movies.
Edmonton based filmmakers producer, Andrew Scholotiuk
and director, Dylan Pearce
used Storeoboard in the pre-production stages of their award winning 3D film “40 Below and Falling”. The 3D romantic comedy recently won a Lumiere award from the Advanced Imaging Society, beating out movies such as Star Wars, Inside Out and The Martian. The Lumiere is a prestigious award that acknowledges the advancements and innovation in digital cinema.
The director Dylan Pearce continues to use Henrikson’s software in the development of other 3D productions.
