This January, Research in Motion (RIM) funded three scholarships for
computer science undergraduate students at the University of Toronto.
Three students, in second or third year, will be awarded $5,000
each, based on academic merit and involvement in the Professional
Experience Year (PEY) internship program. The scholarships were
announced at an on-campus event featuring RIM Chief Operating Officer
Craig Boutilier, chair of DCS, notes: "The department is pleased that
RIM chose to support our students in this very tangible way, building
on their significant contributions to our students' education through
their engagement in the PEY program."
